Evangelism/Missions

People need to know about Jesus. But how can they learn about Him, unless someone tells them about Him? God commands us to go into all the world proclaiming His good news and baptizing new believers into his kingdom. He placed you where you are for this purpose. Tell of and show Christ's love to all those around you.

CLBC took a group to a remote area of Brazil to build wells and share God's message of hope and salvation with the lost. We go on mission to the Mexico border each summer and hope to go to Vladivostok, Russia and Mecetlan, Mexico in 2009.

Locally, Clear Lake Baptist Church is a member of the Clear Lake Chamber of Commerce and Christian Outreach Alliance. CLBC ministers in local apartment complexes and homes for orphaned children. There are many ways to reach out with other people or on your own. Be obedient to His calling!

Other missions opportunities include:

• Operation Christmas Child:  We give shoe-boxes full of gifts to underprivileged children around the world.
• We support a Christmas store, Thanksgiving Dinner, and Back-To-School supplies with the Christian Outreach Alliance.
• During our Mission Trip to the Border, we help build and paint homes, have youth and children events with a local church, and deliver backpacks full of back-to-school supplies to poor children.
