Students
Knowing . . .
Showing . . .
Flowing . . .
As a Student Ministry (6th-12th grades) our purpose is:
-
To make knowing and enjoying God the passionate pursuit of our lives
-
To reveal God as believers love each other
-
To let the world know that Jesus is the Way
All of our programs revolve around this three-fold purpose. We have weekly Bible study, small group discipleship, youth style worship services, and fellowships on a regular basis. We also plan weekend retreats, summer youth camps, and mission trips. We seek to create an environment where youth can come, relax, be themselves, find acceptance and grow in their relationship with God and others.
Sunday morning bible study is when we divide the youth according to grades and address specific ideas in the Bible and how to apply them to daily life. We've got a great group of committed, caring adults to teach sound, biblical truths to our youth.
The Maze: Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m.
These weekly youth worship services are held each Wednesday in The ATTIC. It's a fun and kinda crazy time where we come together, laugh, play games, have fun, praise & worship, and hear about the God who really can give us perfect direction in every area of our lives.
Youth Choir: Sundays at 5:00 p.m.
Jeff Nelson leads a 45-minute youth choir rehearsal each week, and then Neal Hicks follows it up with a Bible study. Afterwards, students hangout in the ATTIC until 7 p.m.
Other opportunities offered throughout the year are: DiscipleNow, Youth Camp, and Mission Trips!
