Jeff Nelson

Jeff Nelson, originally from North Carolina, came to Houston in the fall of 1980 on a Music Scholarship to attend Houston Baptist University. Jeff specialized in Vocal Performance and earned a Bachelor of Music degree in 1985. In 1986 Jeff was called as Part time Minister of Music at the First Baptist Church of Galena Park, in Galena Park TX.

After nine and a half years in Galena Park, God opened the door to come to Clear Lake Baptist Church in Houston, Texas, to also serve as a part time Minister of Music. Another twelve years later, God called Jeff into full time ministry. Beginning January 2009, Jeff now serves as the full-time Minister of Music and Administration at Clear Lake Baptist Church.
