Facts for Guests
How can I know Christ as my Lord and Savior?Click here for more information. Contact Pastor Glenn with questions.
Meet the Pastor! Our Pastor Dr. Glenn Young will stand at the back door to meet you following the service. Ask him about a free gift for first time guests at CLBC! Learn more... The Welcome Center:The Welcome Center is located in the preschool hallway, just inside the glass doors to the larger sanctuary building from the breezeway. This is the first stop for our guests interested in finding a Bible study class. It is the place to register for upcoming events or find out more information about CLBC. Pick up a copy of Inside CLBC, the church newsletter, or a complimentary Bible (for those without one). Becoming a Member:We have a time of “Invitation” after the sermon. When the Invitation music begins, just walk up front to a pastor, and let him know of your intent to join, and how you would like to join CLBC. There are three methods for joining:
Where do my children go during worship?Extended Session is offered for children 3-years old and younger. Students remain in their Sunday School classroom. During extended session, paid staff reinforce the lesson from Sunday School while caring for the needs of the children. Grade school children go to the adult worship service. Prior to the sermon, all Kindergarten through 2nd grade students are released to children's church (optional). They meet in the back of the sanctuary where an adult escorts them to room 114. Immediately following the worship service, all parents should pick up their children from extended session or children's church. Contact Keith Rogers for further details.
Is my child safe?Yes! All children's workers and staff have passed a background check and been approved by the church. A safety system for checking in preschoolers and picking them up is in place. Please, only drop of you child in a classroom with at least one adult wearing a CLBC Cares Photo ID Tag. They will need to get some information about you and your child. Check out the CLBC Cares Child Protection Policy for further details.
Nursing Moms:Nursing moms are welcome at CLBC, and we have a room for your use when needed! Please ask one of the greeters for assistance. |
